Today in Toronto, Eden Founder Ben Zlotnick announced the appointment of Scott Bryk, B.Sc. as COO of Eden.
“Scott brings years of successfully leading teams, campaigns and companies through periods of hyper-growth and I’m excited to have him join us and bring his experience, drive and ambition to Eden”, says Eden Founder Ben Zlotnick.
Bryk previously served as President of Grounds Guys Canada, one of North America’s fastest growing grounds care and landscape maintenance franchise systems, through a period of rapid growth that culminated in the organization’s sale to The Dwyer Group of Waco, Texas in the summer of 2015. Most recently, he was Executive Director of The Highway of Heroes Living Tribute campaign, focussed on planting 117,000 trees along Canada’s “Highway of Heroes”, a 170km stretch of North America’s busiest highway, with one tree for each of Canada’s fallen soldiers since Confederation.
“I believe that business success is an inevitable result from focussing on people, and to creating a culture that cares about the wellbeing and professional development of everyone on the team. When you care about and lead your team they are inspired to bring their A-Game every day and help achieve the organization’s vision.” A former ironman triathlete and current Infantry Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves, Bryk will oversee all aspects of Eden operations and work to promote the growth of the Eden brand.
